2023 Change Makers: Elected Women Serving the Borderland

Our inaugural Change Makers event took place on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the El Paso Convention Center and was centered around acknowledging the trailblazing accomplishments of El Paso's female elected officials across the spectrum of governance. The event consisted of a luncheon and panel discussion led by Cindy Ramirez of El Paso Matters. Panelists included US Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, Retired District Judge Linda Chew, and State Board of Education Member Dr. Melissa N. Ortega. Over 50 elected officials were in attendance.

2024 Change Makers: Women in Tech

The 2nd Annual Change Makers event took place on March 27, 2024, at the El Paso Country Club, celebrating Borderland Women in Tech. Presented by Microsoft, the event honored 20 women who have made significant contributions to technology in the region. Keynote speaker Vanessa Feliberti Bautista, Vice President at Microsoft and Eastwood High School graduate, shared her journey and insights on leadership and innovation.
